Natur. Ardi (meaning ‘my land’ in Arabic) is the new luxury beauty brand created around the concept of homegrown organic Moroccan Argan Oil. Founded by Morocco native, Rania, whose homemade approach to skin and haircare has been based around the ancient wisdoms of generations of family members. Now based in the UK, she recognised the lack of purity around Western argan oil and wanted to create both traceable formulas and bridge cultural divides through the efficacy of Moroccan derived oils.
‘My grandmother embodied Moroccan beauty rituals in their purest form – I recall her using argan oil all over her skin and hair, and as she got older it even helped her rheumatism. My mother was also passionate about natural care often mixing her own spices like clove into other botanicals,’ recalls Rania.
Having moved to London 9 years ago, she began to realise how difficult it was to find authentic Moroccan ingredients; ‘argan oil was everywhere but little of it resembled what I had used growing up in texture, purity and effectiveness instead it was diluted and overprocessed.’ So, the seed of the idea for Natur.Ardi ‘an extension of her upbringing’ was set. In 2025, Natur. Ardi, a curated edit of oils, serums, floral water, masks and balms launched after three years of extensive researching and meeting producers in the Agadir region.
The Precious,100% pure, natural Moroccan argan oil (an organic cosmetic argan oil) was the first product formulation; untouched, unaltered, lightweight so suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin whilst supporting long term skin barrier health and elasticity. ‘I knew I wanted to elevate ancient ingredients and Moroccan traditions into products that felt intentional, luxurious and beautiful,’ so other tantalising oils include ‘The Elixir’ a prickly pear seed oil. It is made from tiny seeds of the prickly pear cactus fruit that grows naturally in Morocco’s southern regions, where only 5% of the seed becomes oil. Rich in Vitamin E, sterols and essential fatty acids Omega-6, Omega-9, it acts like a natural antioxidant, reducing fine lines and protecting the skin barrier. ‘The Essence’ (organic pure orange blossom water), an organic orange blossom water (the liquid is extracted from bitter orange blossoms) with a delicate natural neroli fragrance and rich calciums formulated to repair skin texture, soothe sensitive skin and inflammation. ‘The oils are supported by ancestral botanicals that keep the skin balanced long term rather than overwhelmed: mineral rich ghassoul and green clays for gentle detox and scalp care, black soap for renewal, orange blossom water for calming hydration, and argan lip balm for daily barrier support,’ explains Rania. As a sensitive skin sufferer, who had given up on UK based argan oil products because the textures were always too thick and caused me breakouts, I can confirm the delicately formulated products seep into the skin layers: I carry both The Essence and The Precious in my bag topping up in the day when my skin feels dehydrated or dull.
Natur.Ardi is inherently built on transparent supply chains, whilst supporting generational female harvesters and distillers in turn regenerating nature’s ecosystems. ‘I worked directly with agricultural engineers who specialise in argan cultivation and extraction – one of whom has been my father’s friend since school.’ Traditionally in ancient Moroccan culture, women depulped fruits by hand, cracked nuts between stones, gently warmed kernels for culinary oil, crushed them with stone mills into paste, kneaded it into a thick mixture called Tazguemmoute, and manually pressed it to release the oil – hence the precious nature of real argan oil. These traditions are still passed on between female generations but Natur.Ardi merges respect for tradition with modern precision; the fruit is mechanically depulped, the nuts cracked and cleaned by skilled women, cosmetic kernels pressed to preserve nutrients and the oil is finally pressed mechanically and bottle filtered.
Natur.Ardi also aims to reflect the ancient Moroccan selfcare practices such as Hammam: a full-body ritual of purification and nourishment, which combines steam, cleansing with black soap, deep exfoliation, mineral-rich clay treatments, and finishing with nourishing oils. It’s where skincare becomes healing, restoration, and self-care all at once.
