Feonyca Switzerland is the new premium Swiss skincare based on modern active ingredients. Ukraine born founder, Juliia Parfonova, is a trained Doctor, who worked in aesthetic medicine for ten years observing skin conditions before having to leave her home country for Switzerland; Feonyca Switzerland is the result of Parfonova’s experience utilising a scientific approach, aesthetics, quality ingredients and accessibility into a longevity driven product range.
‘I wanted to create a premium skincare line firstly for myself – products that would not simply coat the skin or provide a temporary feeling of hydration, but would truly work with the skin, support it and help it look healthier, smoother and more renewed.
I saw a clear gap in the market that blended professional skincare, advanced technology with modern active ingredients such as PDRN, peptides, probiotics, exosome-related ingredients, collagen.’
In 2025 formulation research began; ‘with the lab we explored modern directions in regenerative cosmetology and ingredients that support skin quality, skin microbiome and the skin barrier and texture’ she continues, ‘for me it was important that every ingredient was chosen intentionally to support the overall skin restoration and renewal.’
Nine months later, the first product, the Feonyca Switzerland Regenerative Cream launched: ‘we decided to start with a regenerative cream because it is the foundation of home skincare and can be used day, morning and evening.’
I am fascinated by the Regenerative Cream advanced ingredient list, particularly topical ingredients such as peptides and exosomes. Where there is so much misinformation around peptides and collagen, how does Feonyca enable the formulations to reach deeper into the skin layers?
‘Peptides are truly one of the most interesting directions in modern cosmetology but not every peptide is the same and a higher concentration doesn’t always mean a better result,’ Juliia continues, ‘the molecular form, stability, ingredient compatibility and the balance of the entire formula are all essential.’
Feonyca Switzerland Regenerative Cream contains a peptide complex, including modern peptides such as Tripeptide-1, Hexapeptide-9, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Nonapeptide-1 and others. The formula also contains Hydrolyzed Collagen: it consists of smaller fragments compared with regular collagen, which makes it more suitable for cosmetic formulations, and helps support the feeling of hydration, softness, smoothness and comfort in the skin. Juliia explains, ‘when it comes to the delivery of active ingredients, I believe it is not only about one single ‘transport system’ but about the entire structure of the product; emulsion base, carefully selected solvents, the stability of the actives and their compatibility with one another.’ So uniquely the Feonyca Switzerland formulation also includes peptides working together with PDRN, postbiotic components, ceramides, Centella Asiatica, panthenol and other powerful punchy ingredients that support the skin barrier and skin quality.
I ask Juliia about the PDRN derived from Salmon and translating that ingredient (mainly known as an injectable) into a topical skin cream. ‘A cream is not an injection or a magic wand but the key is creating a strong and balanced formula; the actives need to be stable and compatible with each other.’ So, expect alongside the PDRN, exosome related ingredients based on Vitis Vinifera Fruit Cell Extract, as well as Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate and ceramides. The LFL is a postbiotic ingredient supporting the skin microbiome balance, the Centella Asiatica is soothing and restorative, Ceramide is an important lipid component of the skin barrier working to reduce moisture loss. The PH of the product is 5.5 supporting the natural acidic layer of the skin. ‘For me regeneration does not begin with aggression but with restoring balance.’
As a sensitive skin sufferer whose gone through extreme stress which still triggers my skin, I ask Juliia about the anti-ageing fixation of the beauty landscape. ‘For me Feonyca is not simply an anti-ageing brand, I don’t look at skin through that lens. Skin ageing is a complex biological process influenced by many factors: stress, hormonal changes, inflammation, hydration, UV and so forth.’
Juliia oversees every step with precision alongside her lab in Geneva, ‘modern cosmetics, especially when working with bio-technology ingredients requires a very careful approach to raw materials, documentation, stability and safety. We have heritage and documentation of all raw ingredients.’
So, what is the future for Feonyca Switzerland?
‘We are looking to expand the product line and create a complete skin system – gentle cleansing, toning, a serum and a mask. We also want to develop products for teenage skin, sensitive skin and skin prone to irritation.’
Interestingly the product range is not the final destination for Feonyca, Juliia is passionate about developing the educational direction of the brand; ‘I have written a small book called ‘Notes of Cosmetologist’ with accessible skincare tips which will soon be published in various languages.’ She adds, ‘my goal is for Feonyca not to be just a cosmetic brand but a brand of trust.’
